The World Molecular Imaging Congress (WMIC) 2020 will feature poster abstracts. Please see the information below for poster guidelines.

Poster Number

Your poster number (example: P238 or LBAP231) indicates the location of your poster and will replace the Abstract ID as your new identification number for your poster.

Location

All posters will be in the Congress Hall Foyer A & B on the 3rd floor of the WMIC meeting at the Prague Congress Centre. Please take note and bring your poster number to the conference to quickly locate your poster board.

Presentation

Please note that posters are to remain up for all poster sessions (Oct 7 – 9). Missing posters will be noted. Poster sessions will be one (1) hour long. Odd number posters will be presented for the first 30 minutes of the session and even numbers for the second 30 minutes.

Avoiding Commercialism

Many of our participants gain Continuing Medical Education from attending the meeting and the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) has rules intended to minimize the relationship between corporate entities and CME programs. Therefore, please omit any commercial brand names (.e.g., Vevo, Philips, GE, Oxonica, etc.) from your poster. The exceptions to this would be (1) if the focus of your study was to compare the performance of two or more company products, or (2) to identify the essential procedures and methodologies that cannot be otherwise identified by showing the structure, pulse sequence, field strength, etc. Otherwise, please use unbranded references to equipment, agents, etc. without naming the manufacturer.

Multiple Posters

Every effort has been made for multiple posters by the same presenter to be placed in non-conflicting sessions; however, this was not always possible. If your poster presentations conflict, you may find it necessary to post a note indicating your availability to attendees.

Withdrawal

If you are unable to present your research as a poster and need to withdraw your abstract, please email Andrea Diaz at adiaz@wmis.org immediately. Space is at a premium this year, so if you are not able to attend, please make prior arrangements.

Poster Design

Your poster must be LIMITED to 42 inches width by 42 inches height (107 cm width by 107 cm height). You do not need to use the entire width and height, these are only the limits.

Poster Installation

Poster installation may begin at 8:00 on Wednesday, October 7 and must be completed by 17:00 on the same day. Poster Session 1 begins at 18:00 on Wednesday, October 7.

Poster Removal

Posters must remain up from October 7 through October 9. Poster removal will begin no sooner than 16:30 on Friday, October 9 and must be completed by 19:00 the same day. Any posters removed prior to the indicated time will be noted and any posters left after 20:00 will be discarded.

Poster Printing
