The Volunteer Application Submission for WMIC 2017 opens on Friday, December 1, 2017 and closes on Thursday, February 1, 2018.
This year, we are giving you the opportunity to participate in our annual meeting by applying to be a Reviewer and/or Session Moderator. Please see the information below, which will help guide you in beginning your application process.
The following are responsibilities for each volunteer position. After submitting your application, if you are selected to be a volunteer, you will be sent an email with further instructions.
Reviewers must be available via internet during April and May, 2017 to review assigned abstracts in their area of expertise. Each Reviewer will have between 1-25 abstracts to review during a 2 week period.
Session Moderators must be available during September 13-16, 2017 at the annual WMIC in Philadelphia, PA. Session Moderators will be paired to sessions according to their areas of expertise. Duties during the sessions include keeping time to ensure all speakers run on schedule, moderating questions from the audience, and assisting speakers as needed.
