Description:

Interested in learning about the latest research techniques in synthetic biology that could accelerate your molecular imaging research or take it in a new direction? Join us the day before WMIC for a special workshop, free for WMIC attendees.

The goal of the workshop is to provide scientists in the field of molecular imaging with a unique opportunity to share and learn state-of-the-art techniques and research in synthetic biology. The workshop will include technical talks from three expert invited speakers, and two mini-symposium sessions to provide trainees (students, postdoctoral fellows, and research technologists) with opportunities to give an oral presentation on their research and/or techniques used in their lab. The workshop will also have a mentoring session where established scientists from academia and industry will discuss career development and present a live Q&A session.
