The Cardiovascular Molecular Imaging Track will showcase the latest imaging science in the basic, translational, and clinical domains. New molecular and theranostic agents, in concert with integrated structural and function readouts, are revealing the fundamental biology of myocardial and vascular diseases in living subjects. Promising strategies are allowing evaluation of pharmacotherapeutics and invasive therapies in large animal models of cardiovascular disease. Basic and translational efforts are culminating in the application of molecular imaging to patients with cardiovascular disease, revealing the role of inflammation in atherosclerosis complications and myocardial infarct healing, and the systems biology of cardiovascular disease. Please join us for outstanding presentations and lively discussion from leaders in the field!
